Senior Tax Manager

Our client is seeking a
Senior Tax Manager
to join their organization. This is a Direct Hire role.
Responsibilities
:
- Supporting tax partners through the identification of tax planning opportunities and strategies in the firm's varied client base.
- Preparation of step planning memorandums and technical reports for clients and partners alike.
- Assisting with the mentoring of other team members with respect to tax.
- Assisting with performing the review of personal and corporate tax returns and tax projects
Qualifications:
- University Bachelor's degree.-CPA designation.
- CPA In-depth Tax Course or Master of Taxation degree would be an asset.
- Ideally a minimum of four years experience with at least two years specializing in tax. (able to do tax and accounting)
- Extensive knowledge of personal, corporate, partnership and trust tax legislation and compliance requirements.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Knowledge of TaxPrep is required.
- Previous experience in corporate reorganizations, estate planning and various filings of tax elections (Section 85, CDA, etc.) is desirable.
