Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering principles and practices, with experience in system design and project management, especially hands-on experience with Nuclear Power Plant projects. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems and components, ensuring they meet the required specifications and standards.

Key Qualifiers:

  • Bruce Power and/or OPG Security Clearance is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • A Professional Engineer of Ontario (PEO), or eligible for PEO status, with a passion for engineering.
  • 2-10 years of experience in project management, project engineering, controls, and scheduling.
  • Familiarity with relevant codes and standards is desired, along with a strong understanding of and commitment to meeting superior quality assurance requirements
  • Flexibility to perform work over a wide range of areas for both operating and refurbishment facilities
  • Working knowledge of the systems at a nuclear power plant, solid knowledge of the nuclear power plant engineering change control process, is an asset. Knowledge and/or experience with CANDU nuclear technology is considered an asset.
  • Experience with field execution of designs is an asset
  • Experience in procurement engineering is an asset
  • Experience in solving problems, providing advice and guidance, and making recommendations during the design, commissioning, and operation of a nuclear facility.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50.00-$60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
