We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Counter Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while ensuring safety and cleanliness standards are met. This position requires a strong commitment to maintaining a welcoming environment for our customers and efficiently looking up parts on different supplier websites for customers.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their orders,
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the counter area, equipment,
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Adhere to all regulations and safety protocols to ensure the safety of our customers.
Experience
- Previous experience in the parts industry is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.
- Knowledge of parts is an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
