**Job Overview**

As a **Cashier & Food Counter Attendant**, you’ll be the friendly face of Suyah To-Go. You’ll greet guests, take orders, handle cash and card payments, prepare simple food and beverage items, and ensure a clean, welcoming counter area.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately at the counter or POS system.
- Handle cash, debit, and credit card transactions; balance cash register.
- Assist with preparing and serving food items (plating, portioning, packaging takeout).
- Maintain cleanliness of counter, dining, and service areas.
- Restock supplies and monitor inventory at the front counter.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and company standards.
- Support team members with daily operations as needed.

**Qualifications & Skills**
- Previous experience in food service, retail, or customer service is an asset (but not required — training provided).
- Friendly, energetic, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and transactions.
- Reliability and willingness to learn.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 lbs.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
