About Us

Bellwood Carpentry LTD. is a small general contracting company based in Toronto's east end. We specialize in high-quality home renovations in the Beaches, Bluffs and Guildwood areas. We take pride in our craftsmanship, reliability, and attention to detail — and we're looking for a skilled carpenter to join our team full-time.

Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced carpenter with a diverse skill set in residential construction and maintenance. The ideal candidate is reliable, takes pride in their work, and can balance both technical skill and hands-on labor.

Responsibilities

  • Safely and effectively operate hand and power tools for a variety of carpentry projects
  • Assist and lead in framing, trim, drywall, and general renovation tasks
  • Work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines
  • Maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Perform physically demanding tasks safely and efficiently

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in carpentry or general construction
  • Proven experience in residential renovation work (framing, finishing, drywall, etc.)
  • Apprenticeship or Red Seal certification is an asset (experience required regardless)
  • Strong understanding of construction practices and safe work procedures
  • Excellent problem-solving and adaptability on job sites
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are assets
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
