Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Manager to oversee operational activities within our landscape maintenance and horticulture services. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise in rigging, GIS, and bucket operation, and a passion for delivering exceptional service. This role offers an opportunity to lead a team, manage complex projects, and contribute to the growth of our company's service offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise service teams to ensure efficient execution of landscape maintenance and horticultural projects
  • Oversee the safe operation of bucket trucks and other equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards
  • Coordinate rigging operations for equipment installation or maintenance tasks
  • Utilize GIS technology for planning, mapping, and project management purposes
  • Manage scheduling and resource allocation for multiple service projects
  • Ensure quality standards are maintained across all service activities
  • Provide training and mentorship to team members on technical skills such as bucket operation and landscape maintenance techniques
  • Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, safety procedures, and project progress
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions

Experience

  • Proven experience in landscape maintenance, horticulture, or related fields
  • Strong knowledge of rigging techniques and safety protocols
  • Experience operating bucket trucks and other aerial lift equipment
  • Familiarity with GIS systems for mapping and project planning
  • Prior experience managing a team or service operations is preferred
  • Knowledge of horticultural practices and landscape design principles is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects from start to finish with attention to detail and safety standards

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
