Mail Center Manager - Toronto, Ontario

We are looking for a professional, upbeat Mail Center Manager to work in our  Toronto, Ontario office in Canada. There will be a two-week paid training, one week in Toronto and one week will be conducted at our headquarters in Montebello, NY USA.


This position is NOT remote and requires you to work in the office, Monday - Friday 9:00 - 5:00pm.

To excel in this role, you should be comfortable working independently, speaking with clients on the phone and in person, able to think on your feet and have a positive, team-oriented attitude. If you enjoy assisting customers and want to make a career of it, this could be a great opportunity for you

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

Receive mail, scan into software and file appropriatelyUpon customer direction, discard, shred, open & scan contents of mail and / or forward to an alternate locationAnswer inbound calls and in person inquiries from customers in a prompt and professional mannerAssist customers in person to retrieve their mail in a courteous fashionAscertain level of assistance needed to resolve inquiry and escalate when appropriateDeliver all information in a positive, conversational, and compassionate manner to facilitate relationship development with clientsEnsure the highest level of customer serviceKeep inventory of mail and office supplies and keep the corporate office informed when supplies need to be reorderedPerform other customer service responsibilities to assist the corporate office during busy times

Requirements:

Ability to work independently and handle confidential mail with absolute discretionResults orientedStrong work ethicOrganization skills are a mustExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPrevious experience in an office coordinator role with an emphasis in customer service
