Role Purpose
The Outside Sales Lead is a working manager responsible for leading by example. This role combines individual quota-carrying responsibility with leadership of the sales team, process development, and pipeline discipline.

The Lead is accountable for new revenue generation and for instilling consistent, client-focused sales behavior across the team. This includes coaching other reps, helping shape sales playbooks and outreach frameworks, and collaborating with leadership to align sales motion with strategic priorities.

Please note this is a in-person position located at our office in Acheson, AB.

Key Responsibilities

  • Individual Sales Production: Build personal pipeline, pursue new customers, and close business.

  • Team Coaching and Accountability: Provide feedback, structure, and support to other sales reps.

  • Process Leadership: Help define and enforce outbound cadences, proposal quality, and deal hygiene.

  • Sales Forecasting: Maintain visibility into team pipeline, deal status, and conversion expectations.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the vCIO, Marketing, and Leadership Team to ensure seamless handoffs and strategic alignment.

  • Hiring and Onboarding Support: Participate in hiring and training of new reps as the team grows.

  • Weekly Reporting: Present team metrics and individual progress in L10 meetings

Success Metrics

  • Personal quota attainment (new MRR or gross profit).

  • Team quota attainment.

  • Sales cycle and close ratio.

  • CRM forecast accuracy and data cleanliness.

  • Quality of outbound activity and team discipline.

  • Sales team onboarding effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of successful B2B sales experience.

  • 2+ years of leadership, mentoring, or management within a sales team.

  • Track record of closing mid-size business service deals (ideally $1k–$10k/month range).

  • Skilled communicator comfortable at the executive level.

  • Familiarity with CRM systems, outbound sales strategy, and structured reporting.
