Outside Sales Representative

As an Outside Sales Representative, you'll drive business growth across our diverse product categories by building strong, long-term relationships with healthcare professionals, community partners, and individual clients.
This hybrid B2B/B2C role blends field-based sales, client trials, and product education. The ideal candidate is a high-performing, self-motivated sales professional who excels at qualifying leads, developing new opportunities, and nurturing strong, long-term customer relationships that create sustainable revenue growth.
You'll engage with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, pharmacists, seniors' communities, and healthcare institutions—representing Healthcare Solutions as a trusted partner in care.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Territory Development
- Develop and execute a territory plan to achieve or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities through networking, relationship development, and proactive outreach.
- Conduct client consultations, trials, and product demonstrations with customers and healthcare professionals.
- Follow up on leads from Inside Sales and the call center, converting inquiries into appointments and sales.
- Maintain detailed records of leads, interactions, and opportunities in the CRM (HubSpot).
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, consultative relationships with healthcare providers, referral partners, and end-users.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers in your territory, ensuring exceptional service and support.
- Deliver educational sessions and in-services to healthcare teams and community partners.
- Stay informed on promotions, funding programs (e.g., AADL, WCB), and new products to offer knowledgeable recommendations.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Inside Sales to support campaigns, events, and product launches.
- Provide feedback on customer needs, competitor activity, and emerging market trends.
- Maintain accurate, timely reports on territory performance and pipeline health.
- Support sales forecasting and strategic planning with the Sales Manager and VP of Sales & Marketing.
- Energetic, self-motivated, and results-driven, with a passion for helping customers.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong ability to qualify leads, develop relationships, and close opportunities.
- Highly organized, disciplined, and accountable.
- Proficient with CRM tools (HubSpot preferred), Microsoft 365, and Google Workspace.

- Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of outside or B2B sales experience; experience in healthcare, rehab, or medical equipment is an asset.
- Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales targets through consultative selling.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license, clean driving abstract, and reliable vehicle required.
