Global Core Infrastructure Manager
Location: Mississauga (5x a week-onsite)
Salary Range:
$115,000-$155,000
Our client, a leader in Industrial IT, is seeking a Global Core Infrastructure Manager to join their team. As a Global Core Infrastructure Manager, you will be part of the IT Operations supporting a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
What's the Job?
- Lead a team of 12-14 professionals, including a Team Lead and System and Database Administrators.
- Oversee the cloud migration project on a global scale.
- Execute the roadmap focusing on server application, datacenter and cloud strategy, and legacy modernization.
- Manage and mitigate challenges associated with legacy systems and technical debt.
- Facilitate 30-35% travel across North America and Europe for project execution.
What's Needed?
- 5 years of managerial experience with a solid technical background.
- 10 years of experience in cloud adoption and migration.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and diverse systems.
- Experience with cloud Infrastructure as a Service platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Preferred experience in Industrial IT or Manufacturing sectors.
