We're seeking a Networking Infrastructure Specialist to lead the architectural design, deployment, and sustainment of our core network and telecommunications infrastructure. This role serves as a principal technical resource, performing requirements analysis, conducting architectural reviews, and providing support for complex inter-domain challenges across routing, switching, next-generation firewalls, and secure VPN topologies. You'll drive the integration of diverse network technologies to ensure resilient and scalable solutions aligned with evolving business demands.Architect, implement, configure, and maintain local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), wireless networks, and cloud-native networking constructs(e.g., AWS VPC, Azure VNet). Configure,deploy and troubleshoot network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and VPN devices. Lead incident and problem resolution efforts for critical network infrastructure, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to minimize Mean Time To Recovery (MTTR). Participate in the continuous review and optimization of network operations, processes, and methodologies, recommending and implementing improvements for enhanced efficiency and reliability. Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including logical/physical network diagrams, configuration baselines, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Design and enforce robust network security postures utilizing firewall rule sets, Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), and granular access control mechanisms (ACLs, NAC) Orchestrate and validate network backup strategies and disaster recovery (DR) protocols, conducting regular testing to ensure business continuity. Interface and collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to ensure seamless integration of network services with application, server, and cloud platforms. Maintain expert-level proficiency in emerging network technologies, industry standards, and best practices. Provide advanced technical support and guidance to internal stakeholders on complex network-related inquiries. Proactively monitor network performance metrics, health indicators, and capacity utilization, implementing enhancements to optimize network reliability, performance, and scalability. Ensure strict adherence to industry best practices, regulatory compliance, and security policies governing network infrastructure. __________________Are you a MATCH? Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Minimum of 5+ years of demonstrable experience in network administration or network engineering, with a proven track record in enterprise-level environments. Experience with automation tools or scripting (e.e. Python, Ansible) Deep understanding and practical experience with core networking protocols and technologies: TCP/IP stack, OSPF, BGP, VLANs, VPNs (IPsec, SSL), MPLS, and QoS. Extensive experience configuring and managing network devices from Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, and Palo Alto and large-scale, hybrid cloud environments. Proficiency with network monitoring and management tools. Comprehensive knowledge of network security principles, threat mitigation strategies, and vulnerability management. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of dissecting complex technical issues. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate intricate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
