Overview

We are seeking a skilled snow removal crew lead to join our maintenance team. This role is essential for ensuring safe and accessible pathways during winter weather conditions. The ideal candidate will have experience operating snow removal equipment and possess a strong work ethic, attention to safety, and the ability to work in challenging weather environments. Prior experience in irrigation, gardening, horticulture, landscape maintenance, supervising, leadership, or construction is a plus, as these skills contribute to overall site management and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Operate snow removal equipment to clear snow and ice from roads, driveways, parking lots, and walkways
  • Monitor weather conditions to anticipate snow accumulation and plan plowing routes accordingly
  • Perform routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
  • Apply salt or de-icing materials as needed to prevent ice formation and enhance safety
  • Maintain accurate records of completed work and equipment usage
  • Communicate effectively with team members regarding operational status and safety concerns
  • Assist with other maintenance tasks related to landscape or site management when weather conditions permit

Requirements

  • Proven experience operating snow removal equipment
  • Strong knowledge of safety procedures related to winter operations and equipment handling
  • Ability to work outdoors in cold, snowy, or icy conditions for extended periods
  • Supervising or leadership experience is desirable for team coordination roles
  • Skills in irrigation, gardening, horticulture, landscape maintenance, construction, or related fields are advantageous for broader site management responsibilities
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour
