Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team in providing exceptional food service. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, cooking, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. This role is essential in ensuring smooth kitchen operations and delivering quality meals to our customers. Previous experience in food handling or restaurant settings is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn and grow within the food industry.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with meal preparation and food assembly according to recipes and standards
  • Support cooking activities under supervision, ensuring food safety and quality
  • Handle food items safely, adhering to proper food handling procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment
  • Help with serving food to customers or staff as needed
  • Ensure proper storage of ingredients and leftovers in compliance with health regulations
  • Support inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying supervisors of shortages
  • Follow all safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment

Requirements

  • Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to cleanliness and organization
  • Willingness to learn new skills related to meal preparation and cooking
  • Good communication skills and teamwork orientation
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting moderate loads

Job Type: Part-time
