**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Assist with food preparation by chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients as directed by chefs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
- Support cooking staff by helping with meal assembly and plating as needed.
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with food safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist in stocking supplies and inventory management to ensure the kitchen is well-equipped for service.
- Participate in maintaining kitchen equipment by cleaning and reporting any issues to management.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is essential.
- Ability to perform basic cooking tasks and meal preparation skills are beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn new techniques and grow within the food industry.
