We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pizza Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing delicious pizzas and other menu items, ensuring high-quality food service, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills within a fast-paced food industry setting, emphasizing food safety and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications
  • Assist in food preparation, including chopping ingredients, assembling toppings, and portioning dough
  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and proper food handling procedures
  • Ensure food safety standards are consistently met during all stages of meal preparation
  • Serve customers at the counter or in a dine-in setting with friendly and efficient service
  • Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders during busy hours

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
  • Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
  • Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting ingredients or equipment as needed
