Sandwich Maker/cashier

**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and company recipes.
- Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, to process orders accurately and efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring all food handling practices comply with health regulations.
- Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate cash handling and adherence to company policies.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in the food service industry or restaurant environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory management.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices related to food handling is essential.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week
