Job Description: Inside Sales Representative with experience in the trades.

Job Summary

Are you a Carpenter, Machinist, Plumber or other tradesmen looking for a career Change?

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will draw on your experience in the trades to interact with existing customers to increase sales and develop new prospects. Your hands on Knowledge and experience will help you provide exceptional customer service thru product Knowledge.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

  • Engage with both counter customers and phone customers to fully identify needs, respond to inquiries or questions, and offer timely solutions. Communicates product features, benefits, and warranty policy information to customers.
  • Restocks store merchandise as needed. Arranges stock on shelves or racks in sales area and keeps merchandise in order. Maintains showroom cleanliness.
  • Makes deliveries in a company vehicle.

Work Environment

Occasional heavy lifting as required

Indoor, Air conditioned

Minimum Qualification

Must be eighteen years of age

Education and Experience

experience as a Carpenter, Machinist, HVAC or other related construction trade preferred

Preferred Qualifications

Time as part of a Union or Trade Organization is an asset

Knowledge in Bolts Plus Inc. product line and core customers

Wholesale distribution experience, specifically experience with Fasteners, an asset

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
