Job Summary
We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) to join our team The ideal candidate will be reliable, hardworking, flexible, and passionate about supporting children's learning and development in a nurturing environment. We are currently looking for someone who enjoys working with School Agers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate, engaging, and inclusive programs in alignment with How Does Learning Happen? and the DROC framework.
- Create and maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating learning environment.
- Conduct ongoing observations and documentation to support planning and assessment of children's development.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, families, and community partners to support each child's unique needs.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ensure compliance with all CCEYA and public health regulations.
- Be flexible and adaptable to the evolving needs of the program.
Qualifications:
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as an RECE in a licensed child care setting.
- Strong knowledge and practical application of DROC and How Does Learning Happen?
- Proven ability to plan, implement, and assess developmentally appropriate, play-based programs.
- Excellent observation, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively and respectfully as part of a team.
- Current Standard First Aid & CPR-C certification.
- Valid Vulnerable Sector Check.
