Dentistry on Liverpool has ben a part of the Pickering community since 1967. We are looking to add an enthusiastic Dental Receptionist to our growing team. If you are passionate about dentistry, highly motivated and can work both independently as well as part of a team, please forward your resume for consideration.

Requirements:

-Dental Assisting or Administration Course Completion or a minimum or 2 years' experience in a dental office

-Excellent interpersonal communication, organized, outgoing personality with attention to detail

-Knowledge of dental procedures and insurance

-Highly organized with the ability manage multiple priorities

-Experience with Dental Software – Abeldent

-Prior experience with AR is considered an asset.

Responsibilities:

-Answering patient calls and inquiries via telephone and email

-Dental insurance claim submissions electronic and manually

-Understanding of Accounts Receivable will be considered an asset.

-Processing payments

-Ability to explain dental procedures correctly and effectively

-Effectively and efficiently handle the scheduling of patient appointments

-Maintain a professional level of privacy

-General Administrative duties

-Evening and weekend availability: 1-2 evenings per week and 2 Saturdays per month (never on a long weekend)
