Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Electrician/Technician to play a vital role in our manufacturing process for concrete pumper trucks. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment within our manufacturing facility. They will collaborate closely with engineers, production supervisors, and other team members to ensure efficient operations and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and components in concrete pumper trucks according to specifications and safety standards.
  • Perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues, diagnose problems, and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to review schematics, blueprints, and technical specifications for electrical components.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while working with electrical systems and equipment, including lockout/tagout procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance activities, including repair logs, inspection reports, and inventory documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement initiatives and achieve production goals.
  • Perform additional tasks as required, including modifying truck hardware, assisting with heavy item liftings, and participating in general clean-up duties to ensure a safe and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in electrical systems preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an electrician or technician in a manufacturing environment, preferably in automotive or heavy equipment industries.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and schematic interpretation.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical issues and performing repairs using hand and power tools.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to safety.
  • Valid electrician's license or certification preferred.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed to support production schedules.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
