Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs, providing knowledgeable product information and recommendations
  • Conduct product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement and sales
  • Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling, credit card processing, and receipts issuance
  • Upsell complementary products and accessories to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays and ensuring the sales floor is clean, attractive, and well-stocked
  • Manage inventory by conducting stock counts, and reporting low inventory levels to supervisors
  • Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely

Qualifications

  • Previous retail sales experience preferred; supervisory experience a plus for leadership potential
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers
  • Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic retail math for accurate transactions
  • Ability to perform merchandising tasks such as organizing displays, and conducting product demos effectively
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and proactive approach to assisting shoppers
  • Knowledge of store operations or experience in a retail setting is advantageous but not required
  • Basic math skills necessary for cash operations and retail calculations
