We are currently seeking a Sales Director for our store located in Ottawa, Ontario.

Reporting to the General Manager of the store, the Sales Director assists in the daily management of sales operations and the in-store customer experience. This individual contributes to the development and implementation of sales strategies, supervises the sales staff, and ensures the achievement of sales and customer satisfaction goals. This role requires strong leadership and retail operations management skills.

Your responsibilities as Sales Director at MUST Société, Ottawa, Ontario:

  • Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve store objectives;
  • Maximize team sales by providing constructive and engaging feedback on performance;
  • Welcome and train new team members on products, suppliers, and internal policies;
  • Maintain brand image through superior customer service;
  • Manage customer cases and provide appropriate solutions to ensure an optimal shopping experience;
  • Build strong business relationships with customers and foster relationships within the design community;
  • Participate in the execution of the store's marketing strategies;
  • Develop and manage team work schedules;
  • Promote adherence to company policies and procedures.

You are the ideal candidat of you have:

  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as a Sales Director in the retail sector;
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills;
  • A strategic mindset and a solution-oriented approach to ensure customer and team satisfaction;
  • Strong organizational skills, autonomy, and dynamism;
  • The ability to motivate and maximize the performance of your sales team, recognizing their strengths and developing their talents;
  • Comfort in a fast-paced environment and the ability to perform under pressure;
  • Familiarity with IT and office tools;
  • Discretion and keen attention to detail;
  • Strong verbal and written proficiency in English.

Sous la responsabilité du directeur général du magasin, des ventes assiste ce dernier dans la gestion quotidienne des opérations de vente et de l'expérience client en magasin. Cette personne contribue à l'élaboration et à la mise en œuvre des stratégies de vente, supervise le personnel, et s'assure de la réalisation des objectifs de ventes et de satisfaction client. Ce poste requiert des compétences en leadership et en gestion des opérations magasin.

Votre quotidien en tant que des ventes chez MUST Société, Ottawa, Ontario:

  • Diriger et motiver l'équipe de conseillers.ères aux ventes dans l'atteinte des objectifs du magasin;
  • Maximiser les ventes de son équipe en offrant des rétroactions constructives et mobilisatrices quant à leur performance;
  • Effectuer l'accueil et la formation aux membres de l'équipe, tant au niveau des produits, des fournisseurs que des politiques internes;
  • Maintenir l'image de marque à travers un service à la clientèle de qualité supérieure;
  • Assurer la gestion des cas clients et offrir les solutions appropriées dans le but d'offrir une expérience client optimale;
  • Développer de solides relations d'affaires avec la clientèle et assurer le développement des relations d'affaires avec la communauté des designers ;
  • Participer à la réalisation des stratégies de commercialisation du magasin ;
  • Concevoir les horaires de travail de l'équipe en place;
  • Promouvoir le respect des politiques et procédures de l'entreprise.

Vous êtes la personne recherchée si vous détenez les compétences suivantes:

  • Un minimum 3 à 5 ans d'expérience en tant que directeur des ventes dans le domaine du commerce aux détails ;
  • Un leadership rassembleur et de solides compétences en communication et en relations interpersonnelles;
  • Un esprit stratégique et vous êtes constamment en mode solution afin d'assurer la satisfaction de vos clients et de votre équipe de ventes;
  • Le sens de l'organisation du travail et faites preuve d'autonomie et de dynamisme;
  • Des aptitudes pour maximiser la mobilisation et les performances de votre équipe de vente, pour reconnaitre leurs forces et développer leurs talents;
  • Un confort dans un environnement dynamique et motivé.e par le travail sous pression;
  • Familier avec les outils informatiques et bureautiques;
  • Discrétion et souci du détail;
  • Une aisance, tant verbale qu'écrite, avec l'anglais*.
