Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Tire Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, mechanical knowledge, and excellent customer service skills. This role involves performing tire repairs, replacements, and related maintenance tasks to ensure customer safety and satisfaction. Prior dealership or mechanic experience is highly valued, along with proficiency in using hand tools and power tools. The Tire Technician will play a vital role in maintaining the safety and performance of our customers' vehicles while providing exceptional service.

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and replace tires on a variety of vehicles using appropriate hand tools and power tools
  • Perform wheel balancing and rotation services as needed
  • Conduct vehicle inspections to identify tire-related issues and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Assist with general automotive maintenance and repair tasks when required
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
  • Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and addressing customer questions or concerns
  • Manage sales of tires and related accessories, offering product recommendations based on customer needs

Requirements

  • Previous dealership or mechanic experience is preferred
  • Strong mechanical knowledge related to automotive systems and tire maintenance
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and specialized automotive equipment
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely
  • Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude
  • Knowledge of automotive repair procedures and safety standards
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Basic understanding of sales techniques related to automotive parts and services

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.20-$27.03 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
