Prior dealership or mechanic experience is highly valued, along with a strong understanding of automotive repair and maintenance procedures. The Tire Technician will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing hand tools and power tools to perform tire services efficiently and accurately.

Responsibilities

  • Remove and replace tires using appropriate hand tools, power tools, and equipment
  • Inspect tires for damage, wear, and proper tread depth; recommend replacements or repairs as needed
  • Perform wheel balancing, alignment, and other related maintenance tasks where experienced
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to ensure safety standards are met
  • Conduct heavy lifting of tires and wheels safely during installation or removal
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance related to tire care and safety checks
  • Keep accurate records of services performed for each vehicle

Experience

  • Dealership experience or mechanic background preferred
  • Mechanical knowledge related to automotive systems and tire repair techniques
  • Experience with hand tools such as wrenches, tire irons, and screwdrivers
  • Familiarity with power tools used in tire installation and repair processes
  • Strong customer service skills to assist clients effectively
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
  • Knowledge of automotive repair procedures related to tire maintenance is a plus
  • Prior experience operating service truck is a plus
  • Preference to applicants with commercial, agricultural, equipment, and trailer tire experience
  • Preference to applicants with 6+ years experience

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $15.04-$26.18 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
