Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of residential or commercial properties, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations
  • Track rent payments, maintenance requests, and lease agreements
  • Coordinate maintenance and repairs through vendors and in-house teams, ensuring timely resolution of issues
  • Conduct property inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and property appearance
  • Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and record keeping related to property management activities
  • Assist with leasing processes, including showing units, processing applications, and negotiating lease terms
  • Maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication and exceptional customer service
  • Enforce lease agreements and handle tenant inquiries or disputes professionally
  • Prepare reports on occupancy rates, financial performance, and maintenance activities for senior management

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in property management or related office administration roles
  • Strong office experience with data entry, filing, and administrative tasks
  • Excellent customer service skills with professional phone etiquette
  • Knowledge of basic negotiation skills for lease agreements and vendor contracts
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills both written and verbal
  • Prior experience in sales or customer relationship management is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to drive for property visits, inspections, and weekly in-person meetings.
  • Strong knowledge of tenant and landlord guidelines, regulations, and best practices in property management.
