Role Description

This is an on-site contract role for a Junior Java Developer, located in Toronto, ON. The Junior Java Developer will assist with designing, developing, and maintaining software applications. Day-to-day tasks include working on Java-based projects, collaborating with team members to build and enhance microservices, and leveraging the Spring Framework to ensure seamless operations. The position also involves troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring code quality standards are met.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Java and solid knowledge of general programming concepts
  • Experience with building and maintaining Microservices
  • Familiarity with the Spring Framework
  • Strong understanding of software development principles and life cycles
  • Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment
  • Relevant education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Familiarity with web accessibility standards is a plus
