We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fibre Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fibre installation, splicing, testing, and troubleshooting. You will play a key role in delivering reliable, high-quality fibre connectivity to residential and commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, splice, and test fibre optic cables (FTTP/FTTH/FTTB/Backbone). Perform fault-finding, diagnostics, and repairs on fibre networks.

Operate OTDR, light source, power meter, and other fibre testing equipment. Complete documentation, readings, and reports to industry standards.

Ensure all work is carried out safely and complies with relevant regulations. Collaborate with team members, contractors, and clients to ensure successful project completion.

Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service on every job site.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Fibre Technician (3+ years preferred).

Strong understanding of fibre optic principles, network infrastructure, and industry standards.

Experience with fibre splicing, fusion splicing equipment, and testing tools.

Ability to read and interpret network diagrams and build plans.

Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

NRSWA, CSCS, IPAF, or other relevant certifications (advantageous but not required).
