About the Role

We're looking for an Operations Associate; a proactive, detail-oriented generalist who thrives on keeping systems running smoothly. The ideal candidate is skilled in Google Sheets, scheduling, email marketing (MailChimp), copywriting, and basic content creation, with the ability to manage inventory, client communications, and workflow coordination.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys wearing many hats; from writing blog posts to tracking merch and maintaining organized systems. Over time, this position has the potential to evolve into a managerial or executive assistant-style role, taking on greater responsibility in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our small but growing business.

The ideal candidate has 2 - 4 years of experience in operations, administration, or project management, and brings with them a strong command of organizational systems, process improvement, and clear communication.

Primary Responsibilities

● Client Communications: Manage the client-facing inbox by responding to emails promptly and professionally. Over time, may take on additional communications from the owner's back-end inbox. Send scheduled client emails including feedback requests, follow-ups, and class homework notes.

● Scheduling & Systems Management: Create and maintain the class calendar for staff, ensuring accuracy and timely updates on our Squarespace website. Coordinate with staff and clients for invoicing deadlines and services tracking.

● Content & Marketing Support: Write bi-monthly blog posts with guidance from management and assist with posting social media content in coordination with the marketing team.

Qualifications

● Experience: 2–4 years in operations, administration, or a related support role - ideally within a small business, education, or creative environment.

● Technical Skills: Proficiency in Google Workspace (especially Sheets and Calendar), Mailchimp, and Squarespace; comfortable learning new tools quickly.

● Communication: Strong writing and copyediting skills with an ability to adapt tone for client communications, blog content, and social media posts.

● Organization: Exceptional attention to detail, ability to prioritize tasks across multiple projects, and a proactive approach to maintaining smooth day-to-day operations.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
