Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role requires strong communication skills, efficiency in food service operations, and the ability to manage multiple tables while maintaining a positive attitude.
Duties
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS and process transactions with cash handling skills.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper food handling and sanitation protocols.
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing customer needs, upselling menu items, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Assist in food preparation and kitchen operations as needed, supporting overall restaurant efficiency.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in compliance with food safety standards.
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy hours.
- Handle cashier responsibilities including processing payments and giving correct change.
- Uphold food safety regulations and sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and food industry best practices.
