In the role of Server, reporting to shift supervisor, you will provide exceptional customer service that our customers will remember. Your ability to work as a team player, combined with your service skills and your engaging personality, will ensure that our customers have a memorable experience. Primary Responsibilities


• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service


• Assist customers regarding menu items, in an informative and helpful way


• Serve all food and beverage items at the assigned work stations


• Have full knowledge of beverage and food menu


• Have full knowledge of all menu items being served


• Maintaining service areas


• Clearing tables and providing quality service to our customers


• Responsible to ensure all our customers leave with a positive dining experience


• Be aware of all health & safety procedures, including Emergency Evacuation


• Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage


• Liaising and communicating effectively with all appropriate operational departments.


• Developing & cultivating strong working relationships with all customers & colleagues alike


• Performing other duties as assigned or directed by the shift supervisor. 


• Perform cash out functions at the end of each shift.


• Maintain professional appearance.


• May be required to perform opening or closing duties.

Requirements:


• Ability to focus attention on customer needs, remaining calm and courteous


• Must have ProServe


• Must have a sense of urgency


• Handle customer complaints with professionalism and respect. Inform supervisor of any complaints. 


• Patience, teamwork, diplomacy, trustworthy, confidence, works well under pressure.


• Minimum 1 year experience as a food and beverage server or equivalent experience.


• Some work with a point of sale system an asset.


• Bartending experience a plus


• Must be 18 years of age or older


• Must have employment eligibility in Canada


• Must be able to  work flexible hours when required (days, evening, nights, weekends and holidays)
