Job Title: Database Administrator – Senior

Location:
Edmonton, AB (Primarily Remote; occasional onsite)

Duration:
6 Months

Mandatory Requirements

Education:

Degree/diploma/certificate in Computer Science or related field (with 4–8+ years relevant experience).

Experience:

· years – Database Administration in large environments.

· years – SQL Server (2016 or higher).

· years – SQL Infrastructure (install, config, backup, replication).

· years – Power BI / PowerView / SSRS / SSAS.

· years – Strong T-SQL scripting.

· years – Managing SQL Server HA/DR environments.

·       Experience with
AWS / Azure SQL / cloud migrations
.

·       Exposure to
PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, CosmosDB
.

·       Power BI querying via Azure SQL.

·       SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).

·       SQL Server replication and performance tuning.

·       Experience in ticket-based or multi-tenant secured environments.

·       Knowledge of Oracle 19c+.
