Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, and supervise the kitchen team.
  • Oversee all aspects of food preparation and cooking to maintain consistency in taste and presentation.
  • Develop and implement menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to health regulations.
  • Develop and execute menus that align with the café and wine bar's brand and style in collaboration with management.
  • Manage food costs and inventory.
  • Maintain compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Collaborate with management to create food and wine pairings.
  • Drive innovation while maintaining consistency and profitability.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within a kitchen or restaurant setting.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
  • Experience in managing a team effectively, fostering collaboration and motivation.
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in food handling.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
