Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role involves preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring food safety standards are met, and assisting with meal preparation to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent kitchen skills, and experience in food service operations.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and quality standards
  • Cook and assemble dishes efficiently while maintaining consistency and presentation standards
  • Follow food safety protocols and proper handling procedures to ensure hygiene and safety
  • Assist with food plating, garnishing, and portioning to ensure timely service
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstations, kitchen equipment, and storage areas
  • Support other kitchen staff during busy periods, including serving orders when needed
  • Adhere to all health regulations and restaurant policies to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
  • Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation standards in a restaurant setting
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and kitchen operations
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings as needed
  • Passion for the food industry with a commitment to delivering quality service

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
