CP Industries Ltd is a Canadian manufacturer of cleaning products. Our Institutional division installs equipment in all service industries including healthcare, long-term care, restaurants, laundries and hotels. Our food and Beverage division installs and provides service to all types of food and Beverage processing facilities.
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Service Technician to join our team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of chemical dispensing systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with commercial dishwasher repair, chemical dispensing systems, and a strong understanding of schematics and assembly processes. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where technical expertise and customer service skills are highly valued.
Duties
- Perform diagnostic assessments using schematics and technical manuals to identify issues with dishwashing machines, laundry machines, chemical dispensing equipment in restaurants, food and beverage facilities.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on commercial dishwashers, laundry machines, food and beverage dispensing equipment.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, titration kits, to complete repairs and perform chemical testing
- Assemble parts or components as needed for repairs or upgrades
- Follow safety protocols during heavy lifting and operation of power tools to prevent injuries
- Maintain detailed records of service performed and parts used for each job
- Assist in troubleshooting complex mechanical problems using technical knowledge and schematics
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures clearly to customers.
Qualifications
- Dishwasher repair, laundry service, or food plant service experience preferred but will train a person with significant mechanical aptitude.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in repair or maintenance
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and schematics
- Ability to perform some lifting safely and efficiently
- Experience with assembly processes and mechanical troubleshooting techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures and diagnostic techniques is highly desirable
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$36.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
