We are seeking a skilled and reliable Service Technician to join our team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of chemical dispensing systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with commercial dishwasher repair, chemical dispensing systems, and a strong understanding of schematics and assembly processes. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where technical expertise and customer service skills are highly valued.

Duties

  • Perform diagnostic assessments using schematics and technical manuals to identify issues with dishwashing machines, laundry machines, chemical dispensing equipment in restaurants, food and beverage facilities.
  • Conduct repairs and maintenance on commercial dishwashers, laundry machines, food and beverage dispensing equipment.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, titration kits, to complete repairs and perform chemical testing
  • Assemble parts or components as needed for repairs or upgrades
  • Follow safety protocols during heavy lifting and operation of power tools to prevent injuries
  • Maintain detailed records of service performed and parts used for each job
  • Assist in troubleshooting complex mechanical problems using technical knowledge and schematics
  • Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures clearly to customers.

Qualifications

  • Dishwasher repair, laundry service, or food plant service experience preferred but will train a person with significant mechanical aptitude.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in repair or maintenance
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and schematics
  • Ability to perform some lifting safely and efficiently
  • Experience with assembly processes and mechanical troubleshooting techniques
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively
  • Knowledge of maintenance procedures and diagnostic techniques is highly desirable

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
