Role Description
This is a contract role for a Vice President of Exploration. The role is on-site and located in Kirkland Lake, ON. The Vice President of Exploration will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's exploration activities, including planning and executing fieldwork, drill planning, 3D modelling, sampling, and geological analysis. Daily tasks involve managing exploration teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and optimizing exploration strategies to maximize resource potential.
Qualifications
- Field Work and Sampling skills
- Geology and Earth Science expertise
- Experience in intrusion-related exploration and related processes
- Strong leadership and project management skills
- Excellent communication and team management abilities
- Relevant advanced degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or related field
- Professional Geologist Designation
- Geochemical analysis experience
- 3D modelling and GIS proficiency
