**The Role**:
We are searching for a strategic, passionate, and resilient professional to join our team in the role of Vice President of Operations to lead our Cultivation and Manufacturing facilities across Canada. Reporting to the Executive Vice President, Operations and Supply Chain Officer, the VP Operations will be accountable for delivering on the objectives of SAFETY, QUALITY, SERVICE and COST through building an engaged and high-performance team.

**What You’ll Be Doing**:
**Strategic Direction**
- Develop the strategic vision for manufacturing to achieve best in class operational excellence, which fully integrates all sites and brands under one corporate strategy.
- Further identify opportunities at each step of cultivation and manufacturing processes to reduce costs of goods sold, to create efficiencies, and to automate labor-intensive activities.
- Identify, recommend, and implement new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes and use of resources and materials.
- Develop recommendation for ‘Make vs Buy”
- Clearly communicate that vision, translate it into practicable, tactical actions, and effectively deploy the operations team against those activities.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on operations projects and systems.
- Identify, recommend, and implement new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes and use of resources and materials.
- Ensure that departmental decisions and project plans such as those for staffing, development, organization, material efficiency, hardware acquisitions, and facilities are in line with the organization's business plan and vision.

**Operational Execution Leadership**
- Champion Safety, Quality, Customer Service and Engagement as the enabler to support business requirements and deliver profitability. Monitor and drive results through KPIs to measure performance against commitments and actively use results to redirect resources as required.
- Partner in the innovation and new product launches process to achieve On Time and Full launches whether internal or externally sources
- Accountable for cost to produce, labor costs, BOM costs, waste rates, overhead costs, WIP, greige, product quality, fulfillment costs, fulfillment speeds, and raw material inventory levels.
- Act as a mentor and inspirational leader.
- Build a higher performing manufacturing/supply chain organization by attracting, developing, and retaining the best talent possible within the function and throughout the organization.
- Build strong partnerships and establish credibility with the internal team, commanding respect based upon demonstrated leadership skills and functional excellence.
- Establish, communicate, and implement operations-related policies, practices, standards, and security measures to ensure effective and consistent support and execution.
- Liaise with Supply Chain team & Sales to ensure timely delivery of product orders to customers
- Ensure that customers’ warehouse and distribution activities are completed with high accuracy, quality, and speed;
- Maintain and lead productivity improvement initiatives to deliver service level and bottom-line improvements;
- Identify opportunities for improvements to existing sales and operations process to ensure team members can effectively execute
- Partner in the innovation and new product launches process to achieve On Time and Full launches whether internal or externally sources
