Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for a Social Media Manager located in Canada. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies, optimizing social media presence, creating engaging content, and managing social media communications. Daily tasks will include posting updates, responding to audience interactions, monitoring social media analytics, and coordinating with the marketing team to align social media activities with broader marketing goals.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO)
  • Excellent Communication and Writing skills
  • Experience in developing Content Strategies
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and analytics tools
  • Manage and post content across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, etc.).
  • Plan, create, and edit engaging photo and video content.
  • Stay updated with social media trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Creative thinking and ability to generate innovative ideas for social media content
  • Equipped to manage video editing
  • Updating WordPress pages & Google My Business
  • Familiarity with using Daylite as a tracking tool for daily tasks
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is a plus
