TYCROP is looking for an Assembler to join our team in the Fraser Valley.

· Do you have a mechanical aptitude?

Responsibilities:

  • Install of purchased, assembled and preassembled chassis, fenders, fixtures and components of large equipment
  • Assemble product components to maintain published schedule as directed
  • Examine product for proper fit and function
  • Lift/move assemblies & components to and on to the production line
  • Prepare & maintain all associated production documentation
  • Examine work performed in assigned areas
  • Conduct installation inspections
  • Practice safe work procedures at all times; lead by example

Qualifications:

  • High school or equivalent
  • Previous experience in assembly
  • Knowledge of safe lifting and handling techniques an asset

Skills:

  • Understand basic layout of patterns, schematics and blueprints
  • Follow oral and written instructions; maintain cooperative working relationships; demonstrate sensitivity to, and respect for a diverse population
  • Collaboration and teamwork
  • Critical thinking and decision making are key factors in a successful candidate
  • Air system, chassis, hydraulic, mechanical knowledge
  • Operate general hand & air tools for assembly and installations
  • Operation of hand tools/power tools/ all measurement equipment/basic welding skills
  • Demonstrates both ability and desire to improve process and reduce waste

Pay: $19.24-$34.00 per hour
