Duties & Responsibilities Read and interpret engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine assembly requirements Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and machinery to cut, shape, and form sheet metal components according to specifications Assemble sheet metal parts into sub-assemblies and final assemblies while maintaining strict quality standards Conduct detailed inspections of assemblies to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with aerospace standards Use precision measuring instruments to confirm dimensions and tolerances, making adjustments as needed Safely handle, store, and organize sheet metal materials to maintain inventory and workflow Collaborate closely with engineers, machinists, and other team members to ensure components integrate correctly into larger assemblies Follow all company safety protocols and contribute to a safe, clean, and efficient work environment Education & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (required) Technical or trades training/certifications are considered an asset Ability to successfully complete a criminal background check Skills & Experience 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, aerospace, construction, or warehousing is an asset Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and sheet-metal-related equipment Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and technical documents Strong communication skills (verbal and written) Excellent teamwork, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills High attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality Dedication to maintaining a safe work environment and following safety procedures Must have and maintain legal eligibility to work in Canada
