Now, we're looking for a skilled Windows Deployment Specialist (Automation) to support our IT operations on a project-by-project basis. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in hands-on technical environments, has mastered bulk Windows deployments and image capturing over local networks, and is ready to deliver repeatable, scalable results - without relying on paid enterprise services.

What You'll Do

As a Windows Deployment Specialist (Automation), you'll lead the setup and execution of network-based, automated deployment projects for laptops. Each engagement typically lasts 3–5 days and includes:

Automated Windows Installation

• Implement bulk Windows deployments using WDS, MDT or scripting tools.
• Standardize deployments across multiple laptop models using local network infrastructure.

System Configuration & Optimization

• Configure drivers, BIOS, and system settings manually or via supported automation.
• Install and optimize essential software for peak performance.

Troubleshooting & Quality Assurance

• Resolve installation or boot issues during deployment.
• Test every system thoroughly to ensure full readiness.

Documentation & Scalability

• Create clear deployment documentation and SOPs.
• Leave behind a process that's easy to replicate and scale.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate has delivered large-scale, automated deployments using local network-based methods and can lead the process independently from start to finish. Key qualifications include:

• Expertise in Windows OS installation, WIM image capturing, and system configuration.
• Strong understanding of WDS, PXE Boot, MDT, and related deployment tools.
• Skilled in troubleshooting Windows installation and boot errors.
• Familiar with hardware compatibility, drivers, BIOS setup, and VLAN/switch configurations.
• Ability to work without relying on paid deployment platforms or cloud services.
• Strong documentation and process optimization skills.

Engagement Details

• Project-Based: 3–5 days per engagement, with variable timelines for future projects.
• Schedule: Ideally 10 AM – 7 PM, but we're open to accommodating the best candidate's availability.
• Location: Onsite in Mississauga, ON (local candidates only).
• Compensation: Competitive, based on expertise and project scope.
