Operations Associate (Full-Time)

About the Role

La Boîte Bento Asiatique is a growing start-up food company in Montréal. We're looking for a reliable, bilingual (French & English) Operations Assistant who can support the day-to-day needs of a fast-moving business. The role includes coordinating with our stores, partners, suppliers, and our marketing team to ensure smooth operations across all areas of the company.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Support

  • Assist with daily office and commissary kitchen operations
  • Help prepare, pack, and organize orders for distribution
  • Track inventory and communicate restocking needs
  • Coordinate deliveries, pull-outs, and product rotation with partner outlets
  • Conduct store checks (expiry dates, merchandising, signage, cleanliness)
  • Work with driver, suppliers, and internal teams to keep operations running efficiently

Partner & Communications Coordination

  • Serve as a contact point for partner outlets, supermarkets, and institutions
  • Handle follow-ups, inquiries, schedules, and simple admin communication
  • Coordinate with our marketing agency to relay updates, product information, and operational needs for promotions
  • Work with suppliers for signage, packaging, printing, and promotional materials as part of store operational requirements
  • Gather product photos and updates needed for partner communications and brand consistency
  • Support occasional in-store demos and activations to ensure smooth execution

Qualifications

  • Bilingual: French & English
  • Organized, proactive, and able to multitask
  • Comfortable adapting to shifting priorities in a start-up environment
  • Good communicator, able to liaise with multiple partners
  • Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, messaging apps)
  • Able to assist with physical tasks
  • Experience in food service, retail, logistics, or coordination roles is an asset
