PAL Airlines is currently seeking a Crew Scheduler to join our team in St. John's, NL on a full time fixed-term basis.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Flight Crew Scheduling for company aircraft
  • Ensure proper coverage is provided for sick leave;
  • Arranging schedules to accommodate vacation requests without impacting the operation;
  • Arranging shift trades as permitted;
  • Arranging classroom and sim training and adjusting schedules accordingly;
  • Coordinate with the operations management for Schedule Changes
  • Travel coordination for purposes of training and crew positioning.
  • Invoice and PO reconciliation
  • Attend weekly training meetings
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member and independently;
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/requirements and work in a fast paced environment.
  • Able to complete shift work and after hours on call.
  • Must be flexible to work all shifts and adapt to fluctuations in shift times due to operational and/or unforeseen situations.
