Position Objective

To cut, trim, and prepare meat products according to specifications while ensuring food safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cut and prepare meat species with knives, cutters, and saws.
  • Package and label customer orders.
  • Maintain a clean work area and safe working conditions.
  • Follow HACCP and company health & safety procedures.
  • Report any deviations to the Lead Hand.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Grade 12 education.
  • At least 2 years experience in meat cutting, OR completion of a recognized meat processing program.
  • Strong knife skills required.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform repetitive movements.
  • Must be able to work in a refrigerated environment.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Starting Wage: $22.00/hour (based on experience)
