Performance Auto Group is currently seeking a Deal Administrator to join their Accounting team in Brampton. The successful candidate will be a key team player in the Accounting Deals Department. The candidate will be responsible for accurately posting new and used vehicle deals for assigned Performance Auto Group dealerships.

Here's what you'll deliver:

  • Post, reconcile and analyze retail, wholesale, fleet and dealer trade vehicle deals.
  • Prepare remittances for warranties.
  • Post all TD EFT payments for payouts.
  • Maintain and reconcile relative schedules on a routine basis.
  • After-market purchase reconciliation on a routine basis.
  • Process payment posting of vehicle chattel.
  • Maintain inventory of deal files.
  • Follow up with dealership management for outstanding items.
  • Act as intermediary between stores and accounting for items that need to be pulled from deals.
  • After-market purchase reconciliation on a monthly basis.
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or misapplied cash transactions and advise dealers.
  • Monthly inventory reconciliation and audits.
  • Provide support on deal administration matters.
  • Exercise full discretion and confidentiality with sales commission information. 
  • Demonstrate utmost professionalism in the performance of duties. 
  • Execute tasks and work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in adherence to company safety standards at all times.
  • Comply with all company policies, standards and procedures. 
  • Other duties as required by management.

What do you need to succeed?

  • University Degree or College Diploma in Accounting, or equivalent.
  • 2-5 years of Automotive Dealer Accounting experience is considered an asset.
  • Accounts receivable and accounts payable experience preferred.
  • Ability to navigate and utilize computers at an advanced level, including the ability to operate spreadsheet, word processing and PDF
  • editing programs, as well as email and Google documents.
  • Strong computing skills; proficiency in Microsoft applications.
  • Experience with CDK, Ct Wizard, & 180 Dealer software considered an asset. 
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines in a timely manner
  • Excellent interpersonal and team building skills.
  • Demonstrate effective verbal, listening, and written communication skills. 
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.
  • Trustworthy, respectful and able to demonstrate strong work ethics.
  • Self-motivated and ability to work with minimum supervision.

Job Type: Full Time - Permanent

Compensation (expected annual salary): $48,000 - $60,000 per year. The starting salary will be set within this range based on job-related factors such as relevant skills and experience.
