Print Shop & Inventory Coordinator

This position plays a vital role in supporting the operational and ministry outreach of New Life Prison Ministries. The Print Shop & Inventory Coordinator ensures that printed materials, resources, and supplies are managed efficiently to serve the ministry's mission of sharing the Gospel and discipling those impacted by incarceration.

New Life Prison Ministries exists to bring transformation and hope through the good news of Jesus Christ to those in Canadian prisons. Through our Bible Correspondence Course program we offer discipleship, education, and support to inmates, we seek to see lives renewed, hope restored, and individuals equipped to live in freedom through Christ.

Position Summary

The Print & Inventory Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the production, inventory, and distribution of ministry materials. This role ensures that printed resources are produced with excellence, inventory is maintained accurately, and shipments are processed efficiently. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and deeply passionate about sharing the Gospel through practical service.

Responsibilities

  • Printing Services - Oversee all aspects of printing and production, including binding, cutting, folding, and finishing of ministry resources. Coordinate with staff and volunteers to meet deadlines and quality standards.
  • Inventory Management - Maintain accurate records of ministry materials, literature, and supplies. Monitor stock levels, anticipate needs, and coordinate reorders.
  • Shipping and Receiving - Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring timely delivery of materials to prisons, volunteers, and partners.
  • Shopify & Canada Post Administration - Maintain the ministry's online store and shipping systems, process orders, and ensure accurate fulfillment and tracking.
  • Volunteer Coordination - Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers assisting with printing, packaging, and inventory tasks. Foster a Christ-centered team environment.
  • Office Supply Ordering - Manage procurement of general office supplies to support ministry operations.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Experience with inventory systems, shipping platforms, or print production preferred
  • Proficiency with Shopify and Canada Post tools is an asset
  • Ability to lead and motivate volunteers
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to the mission and values of New Life Prison Ministries
  • A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a desire to serve in a Gospel-centered ministry

Work Environment
