Salary Range: $75,000-$110,000

Role Description:

We're looking for a
Mechanical Engineer/EIT
to join our team. We're interested in shaping this position to align with the abilities and interests of the right candidate.

In general, this role will involve:

  • Drafting and design
    using AutoCAD and Revit for building mechanical systems
  • Developing and maintaining drafting standards
    to ensure consistency and quality across projects
  • Designing building mechanical systems
    including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection
  • Supporting construction administration
    including site visits, shop drawing reviews, and contractor coordination
  • Collaborating directly with company principals
    on project delivery
  • Interfacing with clients, contractors, and other design professionals
    to ensure successful project outcomes

This is a remote position with occasional site visits required throughout British Columbia.

Required Qualifications:

  • Mechanical Engineering degree or Mechanical Engineering Technology Certificate/Diploma
  • 2+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
  • Comfortable interfacing with clients, contractors, and industry professionals

Considered an Asset:

  • Experience with energy modelling or load calculation software
  • Exposure to commercial and/or educational facility projects
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) license or working toward licensure
