Who You Are

You are an experienced Project Manager with a solid background in the
Canadian Banking industry
, specifically with deep expertise in
TSYS/TS2 credit card issuing and processing platforms
. You excel at leading cross-functional teams, driving large-scale credit card initiatives from concept to launch, and collaborating across banking pillars. You are comfortable navigating regulatory and compliance requirements, while also embracing innovation to help deliver new, customer-centric products. You thrive in a high-impact, fast-paced environment and enjoy mentoring others on the team.

What You Will Do

As an integral member of the delivery team, you will partner with internal teams and outsourced service providers to ensure successful program execution. Your focus will be on optimizing credit card processing, maintaining compliance, ensuring accuracy, and delivering an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to defining and establishing annual project objectives for the PDO, including project plans, timelines, dependencies, testing, and validation.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects and reprioritize as needed.
  • Oversee testing and validation activities, including reviewing test plans, scripts, results, and defining go/no-go criteria.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and minimize customer impact during deployments.
  • Establish strong controls and validation processes for new and existing systems.
  • Proactively manage changes required for upcoming regulatory updates.
  • Identify and manage project risks, resource allocation, and coordination with internal teams and third-party partners to ensure timely and on-budget delivery.
  • Guide internal and external stakeholders across systems and applications used by Rogers Bank.
  • Provide ongoing reporting on project status, risks, issues, and contingency plans.
  • Contribute to system design, testing, and validation to ensure high availability and regulatory adherence.
  • Leverage industry experience to propose and implement improved processes or solutions.
  • Support talent attraction, development, and retention within the PDO team.
  • Collaborate with business units to identify, investigate, and resolve credit card production issues.
  • Participate in after-hours support for production issues when required (24/7/365).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or college diploma in a relevant field.
  • Minimum
    5 years of application development experience
    .
  • Minimum
    5 years in financial services
    , specializing in
    consumer credit cards
    and
    TSYS TS2 issuer processing
    .
  • Hands-on experience in
    Canadian credit card launch
    , TSYS TS2 implementation, or migration projects.
  • Strong understanding of credit card system integrations (statements, plastics, data warehouse, IVR/telephony, loyalty, etc.).
  • Experience working with vendors to build, manage, and deliver IT solutions connected to the TSYS TS2 platform.
  • Strong knowledge of
    TSYS options
    , configurations, and change protocols.
  • Proven ability to influence and persuade stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and third-party service providers.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including at senior leadership levels.
  • Strong capability to interpret business requirements and translate them into system parameters and technical specifications
