Responsibilities

  • Assist in food preparation by chopping ingredients, assembling pizzas, and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen area
  • Support kitchen staff with food handling, sanitation, and ensuring food safety standards are met
  • Operate POS systems to process orders accurately and efficiently
  • Greet customers warmly at the front counter, take orders, and provide excellent customer service
  • Upsell menu items to enhance sales and maximize revenue opportunities through friendly suggestions
  • Manage cash handling duties including cashiering, giving correct change, and balancing registers
  • Maintain cleanliness by sanitizing workstations, tidy up the kitchen area and maintain clean and safe front area
  • Previous experience in food service (Pizza restaurants) or quick service & fast food restaurants is highly preferred; training will be provided
  • Familiarity with POS system is valuable
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, sales transactions, and retail math calculations
  • Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
  • Ability to work well as part of a team in a busy carry-out restaurant environment
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and clear communication abilities
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
