We are currently seeking a qualified individual to join the dedicated, forward-thinking Trisura Warranty Services  team in our downtown Toronto office.

BUSINESS ANALYST, WARRANTY – TORONTO

As part of the Warranty Services team, the successful candidate will be primarily responsible for processing and reconciling dealer remittances, generate monthly production reports, claims reports, accounts payable, and accounts receivable reports, and perform administrative functions such as dealer activations, cancellations and transfers.

What does our Trisura Warranty Services Department do?

Our Trisura Warranty Services Department provides superior protection in the automotive and powersports space by offering innovative, customized Warranty Programs which include mechanical breakdown protection and guarantee asset protection (GAP) products specifically designed to meet the needs, requirements and challenges faced by our Clients.

Our Clients fall into two broad categories:

  • Dealers who offer warranties and insurance policies and
  • Agents who administer Warranty Programs;

As an integral member of the team, you will bring:

  • Strong attention to detail in all areas of work
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with individuals, internally and externally, at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to innovate and adapt to continuous process improvement initiatives
  • Good knowledge of basic accounting concepts
  • Efficiency working as a part of a team, or independently, as required
  • Proven organizational skills, and strong time-management abilities
  • High level of personal integrity, strong work ethic and initiative

Accountabilities:

  • Process and reconcile Dealer remittances
  • Ensure timely processing of monthly reports
  • Prepare invoices based on monthly production files
  • Compile Agent statements and accounts payable
  • Reconcile current accounts due to Trisura, Agents and Dealer statements
  • Respond to Client inquiries via email and telephone
  • Setup and support Dealer and Agent network with inquiries and system configuration, such as Dealer sign-ups, remittance challenges, accounts payables and receivables
  • Ensuring compliance and agreements are in good order
  • Work effectively and efficiently with team members to resolve Client and system issues

Qualifications:

  • Advanced Proficiency in MS Excel including experience with Formulae, Pivot Tables, Lookup and Financial functions.
  • 2+ years cumulative experience in business role
  • University Degree in Business; Accounting concentration preferred
  • System Management experience is an asset
  • Basic formatting and marketing skills are an asset
  • Experience using MS Access or another relational database

Compensation:

  • The expected compensation in this position is within the range of $65,000 - $85,000
