Duties/Skills:
  • Carry out general labouring duties in order to assist both Day Group personnel and the various trades on site, as required.
  • Duties may include shoveling snow, job site mobilization or demobilization, loading and delivering materials, cleaning, assembling, lifting, moving, and being directed to offer assistance.
  • Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner
  • Client service and public interaction skills
  • Verbal, written and communication skills
  • Time management skills
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license with a clean abstract
  • Must have own vehicle
  • Ability to work inside and outside in all weather conditions and various work sites
  • Physically fit and able to lift 10, 25, or 50 pounds and work on their feet for most of the shift
  • Experience in operating Heavy Equipment considered an asset
  • Team Player; able to get along with a diverse group of people
Position:
  • Permanent Full Time
  • Social Club, Benefits and Pension Plan available
  • Levack and Greater Sudbury locations
  • Weekdays
  • 10 hour shift
  • Overtime after 44 hours
  • Weekends as needed
